In reality, I have always given my senior years consideration when planning my life's goals, but now my goals seem immediate and my plans appear to be more urgent.
Suddenly, my time management seems more keen. There's no doubt in my mind that the way I planned at 30 years old is a lot more intense now that I'm in my 60's.
I have always prided myself with being a very spiritual being much more then religious being. For me "religious" is a term of endearment I attach to ministers and other persons who have dedicated their lives to religious service. Aging has brought me closer to defining my faith and how it dwells in my existence or my existence dwells in faith.
All of these questions, all of these terms, have led me to a deeper level of understanding of just how Catholicism and Christianity have influenced my life. My faith dwells in my spirit and my spirit like my body matures with age.
I can only pray that my faith dwells within my aging spirit reflecting the love of Christ!
