My apologies for getting this up so late. We are consolidating the website where we are getting our basic lesson plans from to a shared plan with two other parishes. I did not have access to the material until today. We will be using Dorothy Day as our Holy Person on the way to Saint Hood this month. I have a video for general audiences and will screen it for appropriateness for the younger kids this weekend. I have a guest speaker who just returned from Mexico who will talk a little about her trip during lunch. This month's topic has some games that we can play with the kids too - maybe while parents are watching the more adult video on Poverty in America. I will attach above the materials from which I am working this month. Those will go up tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!
This is a good month for us to be working together as a group. I will introduce the plans (so far) for the year and the theme for the month. I'd like someone to do the scripture reading - volunteers accepted. We will create some posters using the fours leg of the table theme and discuss the Thanksgiving Mass as well as the topic for December.
