Who are we?
We are a Mission of St. Lawrence Church to Provide for our neighborhood. We are partners with the Food Bank of Western New York and enjoy the support of hundreds of individuals and businesses that recognize the needs of our neighbors. We respond to the call of God through the Son as scripture tells us. Our staff is 100% volunteers - some of whom have been with us for many years - and some are from other parishes who also know the call too"
Why do we serve?
Who do we serve?
Every month we serve over 600 of our neighbors, providing 9 meals per person plus some emergency food! The problems which send clients our way are varied and often far from the control of the family that is hurting. We also seek to provide clothing through our Larry's Closet ministry.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Mat 25:35-40)

Fr. Joe was our Sacramental Minister from 2007 to 2012. He championed the needs of the poor and was famous for ordering pizza to feed hungry people. His connections throughout the community contributed - and continue to contribute - significantly to our Food Pantry needs. Fr. Joe died on October 13, 2012. Thanksgiving Day 2013, our Pastor, Fr. Ron Sajdak and our congregation dedicated the food pantry to Fr. Joe's memory.
